Privacy conditions and security measures
We have put in place safety measures to collect personal information and securely keep it in our system. We do this by providing a password protected registration which you can edit at any point in time once registered. All information we receive is kept in our database that is secured against unauthorized access or use. To comply with the children’s privacy act we will not accept registration inquiries from anyone that is under the age of 13. We don’t trade, transfer or sell any personal information to any other entities not associated with SMAI. We may however share certain information necessary in conducting our business, for shipping purposes or in offering you the best customer service. The information will be supplied only to trusted third parties who agree to keep this information private and the only other instances in which we may share personal information will be if required by law.

Personal information- the How, What and Why’s
As a registered member you are required to provide many different aspects of information both, personal and general that is perhaps specific to you. The reason Why we may require certain pieces of information at times is to fulfill our aim to offer the best customer service in the most efficient way possible. The Way in which we use this information includes, but is not limited to the following:

• To give you a unique account which is personalized to you including a private password and details easily edited
• Provide you with the most relevant information on our current product lines
• To bring you the latest and most relevant products available in the market place
• Continually analyse and improve the way you make a purchase, look up information or how we can better serve you
• Special instructions for delivery of your goods
• Shipping and billing purposes
• Warranty and return purposes
• Communication during the ordering process

The personal information we collect from you when registering with us will include, but is not limited to the following:

• Full name
• Date of birth
• Phone number
• Email address
• Business name (Trading name)
• Billing/Shipping address
• ABN (If applicable)

How we may gather this information is through the registration process, through email inquiries, phone calls or personal encounters. At point of sale we may also require credit card details to process the sale depending on how you wish to pay, these credit card details are secure and will not be shared with any other entities.

The password that will be generated for each eligible member cannot be passed on to any other shop or business without SMAI's written authorization.

E-newsletter
When registering with SMAI you may also elect to receive our e-newsletters. These newsletters may consist of:

• Specials and new arrivals
• Reduction in prices
• A change in product styles
• Introduction of new products
• Price changes
• Product availability

At SMAI no automatic emails are generated and all information exported from www.smai.com is authorized by SMAI Staff. If you wish to unsubscribe from these emails please send through your request to hello@smai.com

Mobile Terms of Service

SMAI USA

The SMAI USA mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by SMAI (“SMAI USA”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to SMAI USA’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of SMAI USA through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with SMAI USA. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18555895835 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other SMAI USA mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
