Shipping Package Protection by Corso
SMAI offers the option to select shipping protection insurance at checkout via Corso. This protection offers coverage for damaged goods, lost goods or stolen goods. Not only that, Corso will offset carbon emissions equivalent to the amount generated by your shipment, via their offset program

Important information about bulky deliveries and heavy item delivery
Many of our fitness products are considered bulky or overweight deliveries. Orders with many heavy items, or any individual heavy weights over 60lb - 80lb may be shipped with an LTL service. Where an LTL service is used, your order will be packed and shipped on a pallet for safety and ease of shipment. LTL deliveries require a specialised tail lift truck, and the delivery address will require sufficient space to offload a loaded pallet from the truck. We highly recommend you ship to a business address, or if shipping to a home address, there needs to be sufficient space for a tail lift truck to park and unload.

LTL deliveries require you to be onsite to accept the delivery.

Please note, if you miss your LTL delivery appointment, Fedex will charge you a redelivery fee which is non-refundable. Failure to pay the redelivery fee will result in Fedex returning your order to our warehouse, and your order will be refunded to you minus the handling fees and charges that Fedex impose due to the missed LTL delivery appointment.

Unloaded LTL Deliveries
The courier will deliver your LTL delivery as close as possible to your door, or kerbside which ever is accessible. The driver will not unpack the pallet, or move equipment inside. We suggest having two people ready to receive the delivery and secure it within your premises. Once the order is delivered, it is your responsibility to secure the delivery, and please check the contents within 48 hours. Claims made outside of 48 hours can not be accepted.

When will my order be dispatched?
We aim to have your order dispatched within 2 business days. Please note, if we choose to ship your order with LTL, please allow an additional 1-2 business days for dispatch. During peak times there may be delays. Our distribution centre is located in Charleston, South Carolina and is closed on weekends and public holidays. If you place an order after 5pm any day, or between Friday evening to Sunday evening, please allow extra processing time as our dispatch team does not work over the weekend or nights.

How long does delivery take?
Depending on delivery location, between 1 - 5 Business days. We ship with Fedex & XPO. Delivery can vary based on location and shipping option chosen. Our standard ground service maps for Fedex are below: (please note LTL orders will take 1-2 days longer)

Do you ship internationally?
We only ship to continental USA. Contact us for a shipping quote to Canada. If you would like to purchase from Australia or New Zealand, please go to www.smai.com.au

Please be aware that Import Duties and Taxes may be charged by your local customs authorities. If these charges are not paid at the arrival of the orders, all parcels will automatically be returned to our warehouse. SMAI is not responsible for these related costs. SMAI will not refund you if you do not pay these related costs.

We offer 14 day returns for change of mind or claims against the discrepancies with orders.

To be eligible for a return, your item:

Must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
Must be returned within 14 calendar days of receiving the order
Must be in its original packaging
Must have the receipt or proof of purchase (please enclose in return)

The SMAI Vanta Smith Machine Insert is an add on for the SMAI Vanta Power Rack system. Install into a power rack to provide safety to a user to build technique and confidence in weightlifting.

The Vanta Smith Machine Insert requires either a Power Rack or Half Power rack. The Smith Machine may also be installed on Vanta Utility Beams as part of a Power Rack.

What is the purpose of a Smith Machine?

The Smith machine is a versatile piece of gym equipment designed to increase safety and efficiency during weightlifting exercises. We commonly see them being used in both high performance environments to support incrementally heavier loads, as well as in rehabilitation environments, where stability and user safety are paramount. The key purposes and benefits of using a Smith machine:

Safety: Features a fixed barbell within steel rails for safe, vertical movement, reducing the risk of the barbell tipping or falling.
Assistance in Learning Form: Helps beginners learn proper form for exercises like squats and bench presses by maintaining a consistent motion.
Targeted Muscle Training: Allows focus on specific muscle groups by adjusting body position relative to the barbell.
Variety of Exercises: Accommodates a wide range of exercises including squats, bench presses, deadlifts, and shoulder presses, thanks to its fixed path and adjustable stops.
Increased Stability: Provides stability during lifts, which is beneficial when using heavy weights or targeting strength weaknesses.
Isolation Work: Useful for advanced lifters to perform isolation exercises to focus intensively on specific muscle groups.

What is SMAI Vanta Rack?

Vanta Rack is SMAI's groundbreaking Power Rack series built around an uprated 11 Gauge structural steel and 1-inch structural bolts. Premium powder-coated steel is finished with the highest detail including precision laser cutting for number and accessory holes and maximum protection for barbells and other gear.

SMAI Vanta Series Compatible products are designed for use on the SMAI Vanta Series power racks. Parts may be compatible with other systems.

Vanta series uses 11 Gauge, 3x3" steel with 1inch laser cut attachment holes. Holes are cut every 1 inch, and the distance between the center of one hole, and the center of the next hole is 2 inches.

SMAI Vanta Series Smith Machine Compatibility

Requires 11 Gauge uprights 3x3" spaced 43inch apart
Requires 1inch hole cut outs in the upright, with 2" spacing. Spacing is measured from centre of cut out whole to the centre of the next cut out hole.
Smith Machine bracket attaches to the inside face of the uprights
Bracket requires 4 x bolt fittings per side.
Each bolt is 19.7 inch / 50cm apart
The total distance between the centre of the top bolt, and the centre of the bottom bolt is 59 inches / 150cm
Distance between upright must be 43 inches

Suitable for Rogue Monster Series

REP 5000 series will require a cross-member replacement as REP 5000 series is slightly narrower. Rogue 43inch cross members are a suitable replacement to allow fitment of the Smith Machine.

THE VANTA POWER RACK

The Vanta Power Rack has exceeded all expectations. I purchased this for my facility as it's compact, yet extremely versatile. It has definitely impressed me with its multi-functionality and design as it makes training easy. Being able to add on attachments like the landmine, dip bar, leg roller, plus many more, means a lot, if not all of the training sessions can be completed on the one rack! This is definitely the most beneficial feature for the dojo as we have a smaller weight training area and needed compact functionality.
